We are growing and are looking a Quality & Compliance Officer for our team in Geebung, Brisbane North.  


ABOUT THE ROLE


New position within a growing NDIS Provider Company.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Support management with all aspects related to quality management
  • Ensure compliance with government legislation, regulation and, guidelines
  • Ensure activities are carried out within regulatory frameworks
  • Assist management with driving and leading audit preparations and processes
  • Carry out internal audits on quality, process and procedures
  • Review, draft and enhance policies, procedures and forms to ensure compliance
  • Develop and streamlining best practice quality assurance methods
  • Develop and manage risk interventions
  • Develop and maintain systems to record and monitor compliance for certain areas of the company
  • Lead staff through changes
  • Participate in and complete special projects as required
  • Review contracts proposed by other agencies, analysing terms and conditions
  • Preparing Service Provision Agreements ensuring they comply with government laws and program guidelines
  • Manage client feedback and analyse findings to inform improvements required
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties that are broadly consistent with the role


ABOUT YOU

  • Qualifications in business management, and/or tertiary qualifications in justice, law or similar
  • MUST HAVE - NDIS Compliance experience with legislation and reporting functions for a registered NDIS Provider.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant standards and legislations related to aged care/disability services and community services
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of quality processes including audits and continuous improvement
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing a quality and risk management framework
  • Demonstrated experience in document writing
  • Ability to follow directions and respect decisions and requests by management
  • Self-directed, efficient, highly organised and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities without hesitation in a professional and confident manner under tight deadlines
  • High level of accuracy as attention to detail
  • Highly effective problem solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new procedures
  • Strong people skills – having a polite and professional demeanour when working with others and be professionally presented
  • Current National Police Certificate issued by the Australian Federal Police
